On Tuesday afternoon we discovered that Ruben the dog had passed away sleeping in the back garden. It appears he had twisted bowel, a common problem in big dogs. The kids were obviously upset and the enduring image is of Nate at the fly screen as they are carrying him out. "ooben, ooben....."
So heres to a fantastic dog and good mate for all the family.

Good bye Ruben we loved you heaps and will miss you lots, you were great Grandma and Granfer, when you stayed here you were truly a wonderful dog
