Anyone got a spare two grand

The new laws allow for some combos on number plates. Anyone got a spare $2000 to put these aside for 14-18 years!!!
And I guess we can't miss out.

Taking a bit of a detour, we thought we'd update a few cute moments with the boys.

When the kids were at Aunty Cath's Marshall decided to give everyone a bit of an anatomy lesson. While sitting around with all his girl cousins eating breakfast, he said: "Girls have vaginas" and continued eating. Gave Lilly and her friend a little giggle apparently!

Xander has also had his first 'break-up' - he dumped his girlfriend Mia and has hooked up with Chelsea (fast worker!!). He told us all about it on the way home from school last Thursday. When Mum asked why he broke up with Mia he said: "Because she doesn't wear her beautiful clothes anymore. Chelsea wears beautiful clothes." Oh, if only it was that easy to snag a man forever!!

A few others that we haven't added, from back in August ~

X - what is the police helicopter for?
Dad - well, sometimes they use them to get somewhere fast.
X - well sometimes they use fast shoes like i have that make you run faster and faster!

And a song Xander made up in the bath.

"frogs were in a pond with daddy cos they didnt have amummy
cos she was in the heaven with Jesus
and they had a daddy"

Quite musical actually!

Nathaniels Operation and fete

Mummy scubbing up for Nathaniel's operation and trying her best to smile. It all seems very real when they put him in the most ridiculously small gown. He did look cute in it though.
The operation took 30 odd minutes and was over before we knew it. He ended havng hernias on both sides and both were successfully fixed. He came out of the aneasthetic and had a feed. He didnt seem too groggy either. Meanwhile the amigos were having the time of their lives at Caths place with the girls. We all slept pretty well last night after a long day. Thanks to everyone for the calls and messages. It was a bit of a worry and we appreciate your support, especially Cath and the girls.

Sunday is the windiest day ever and not really suitable for a fete but it was St. Kevins so we popped in. Xander won a pooh bear and Amelia and Marshall brought something in the White Elephant stall (yes they still exist).

Amelia is getting a few words now - Here is a list

Daddy, Mummy, shoes, socks, car, juice, arshall, ander, baby, more, peese, undulating.

Nathaniel is back from his operation and sleeping off the anesthetic at home now. It all went very well and he is as good as new. Mum and Dad relieved and tired.

Thanks Cath for having the Amigos.

A few new snaps

A few new photos for the blog. The Amigos are heading off to Auntie Caths tonight as Nathaniel is having his hernia operation tomorrow morning. We are all a bit nervous but were sure Nate will be a lot happier once its done.

A Champagne Breakfast

Well, Xander and Marshall decided to wake up early this morning and let mummy have a sleep in - nice sentiment, but unfortunately they also decided to get up to some mischief! When the beeping started, caused by the fridge door being left open for over a minute, I was up and ready to see what they'd been into. Never in a million years would I have guessed!!!

While Amelia and Nate had cuddles, I dealt with Xander and Marshall! Both were feeling a little worse for wear and I don't think they'll be getting into the champagne again! Xander had a vomit and felt better, and both boys had a nice nap to sleep it off!

A half hour later it was Nathaniel who looked drunk, but luckily he was only "Milk drunk"!!!

While I knew that one day I'd have to deal with my boys getting into the grog, I thought I'd have a few years to get used to the idea!!

Here it is.

Well its a well used blog cliche but yes it was a big weekend.

It started out on Saturday with the usual swimming and then setting up for Marshall's party. Batman was the chosen theme and Marshall had some freinds from school and a couple of cousins his age over. Marshall got some lovely gifts, (thanks everyone) and it was a fun afternoon with some Batman related party games.
After the last person had left it was a quick tidy up and I was picked up by Fozzy for the trip down to Phillip Island on the back of the VTR1000. Dusted off the old leathers and helmet for a smooth ride down. I actually fell asleep for a bit. A couple of drinks down the town and a sleep until the rugger. It wasnt quite that smooth with an interuption from the other drunks staying at the house but saw most of the game and Jonny did it again.
Up early and down to the track and some great racing in beautiful weather. Casey did it again with a start to finish victory.
Back to work Monday but a trip to the park for the musketeers.

Saturday came round again and this time it was off to the aunties for a bbq for Grandpas birthday. Cath has just moved in to a lovely new house with tennis court and pool so the kids were very excited.

The garden is huge so the children were let off the leash into the wilds. After many hours of tennis, cars and cubbyhouse we had a lovely bbq lunch and a quick and cold swim, (indoor pool but heating not working).

Saturday night the kids exhausted but mummy and daddy managed to stay awake to watch the Wallabies lose to England in the quarter finals of the World Cup. Go JONNY GO GO GO.
