Keeley Ann baptised.

On Sunday we had Keeley's Christening , once again at St Lukes in Blackburn South. Father Staunton was his usual funny and friendly self and a short but nice service was held. Dette's brother Gerard and his wife Michelle were asked to be God Parents. Thanks....The whole family looking smart. Then back to Narre Warren for a lunch and cake.
The first time a Christening cake had to be bought...
LA is just a little too far away for Aunty Liz to make one!

Keeley wearing the family Christening gown. Thanks everyone for your presents and well wishes for Keeley Ann's future.

New logo.

Well it was about time for a new logo. I am limited on photos of all five at the moment so it might mean another trip to the photographer. Had a great Good Friday today. Amelia decided to make custard this morning. Unfortunately she didnt bother with a bowl or a milk and spreading it over the floor seemed like a good place to cook it.

The clue was the left on the mat at the front door....
After lunch we made some plaster casts and painted them, something we had been meaning to do for ages.
Then off to the Berwick Show and Shine and Rock and Roll festival. It wasnt the exciting event we thought it might be but we saw some cool cars and rockabilly dancing...

Catching up

Once again we have found ourselves busy at lots of things and therefore a bit slack with the blog. It has been two weeks since the last one and here are a few photos
Amelia is getting very girly and isn't often seen without her baby. here she is feeding with Mummy. Perhaps one of the most auspicious occasions was Richard becoming an Aussie. Might have been mentioned before but I just got the photo from the council. Then Dette and I had a very special day with our tenth wedding anniversary. With things so hectic we kept it simple and went out for a curry at a local restaurant and Dette received an eternity ring. Five precious stones for five precious babies.Keeley is doing really well and has had her first weigh in where she has put on more weight than required.. YAY "The biggest gainer?" She is still sleeping really well and looking around at her brothers and sisters. Last weekend we had Hunter's fourth party at a horse riding centre in Waryndyte. The kids all got their helmets and saddled up. Nate really wasn't sure and didn't last very long, I think he got bored of waiting for the off. The other three were riding high and set off around the paddocks. Amelia was on Banjo, Xander on Annie and Marshall on Lucky. They all, and the other kids, took to it quickly and Marshall began chatting up the girl leading his horse. He was chatting with her for the whole 30 minute or so ride. Then the horses were stabled and the usual festivities ensued.
Amelia on Banjo Nate - Not really sure about this.....Xander on Annie
Marshall on Lucky

Keeley enjoying her bubble bath.

Once again Amelia ones her girly times and snuck into the bathroom and did her best l'oreal make over. Good excuse for mum to buy some new stuff.

Then I got to live out a life long ambition when MADNESS finally toured Australia. I have waited 23 years for them to tour and the gig was worth the wait. Pete and I got there super early but had a three hour wait for them to come out. But the time flew and then, "HEY YOU, DONT WATCH THAT." All the hits were played and a couple of my favourites of the newer albums. The venue was quite small so we were very close to the stage.

Here is a snippet of one of my favourites and a Dawson home memory...
