Amelia is getting a lot more vocal and having her say around the house. Phrases include

"elp" - Help please
"sharshall" - Marshall
"anda" - Xander
"are you" - Where are you.

She absolutely loves her little brother and can't leave him alone for long. Here she is reading him a story - wasn't word for word but Nathaniel enjoyed her gibberish!

It's been hot lately so we are having air con installed next week but in the meantime there has been a lot of speedos only time and the boys have had time to work on their own superhero personas. As can be seen there is a bit of work to go yet.
We have had a selection of non Puff Daddy (dummy) and Puff Daddy users in this house and all have taken them and then left them pretty much. Nate it looks might be a thumb sucker.

Election Day

It's Federal election here in Aus and the Musketeers are considering their options. In the meantime Nathaniel had to go to the doctors as his operation wound wasnt healing well and got infected and Amelia woke up with a cold as well.

Quiet weekend planned with Daddy having to work tomorrow and sickness about.

Amelia on the potty

Amelia is now using the potty on and off and we are all very proud. The weather is getting a lot hotter with a 37 and 36 the last two days. So we went and brought a split system, cant wait for it to be installed as it is crazy hot. The kids have been stripping off a bit and having cold showers but Amelia is suffering from heat rash like her Uncle Sam.

Nathaniel's baptism

Due to popular demand and written insults i have pulled my finger out and here is Nathaniels Christening post.
It seems the google calander has been full every weekend for the previous month but no event was more anticipated than Nate's big day. The weather was going to be hot so the full suits went away and Marshall and Xander searched for smart shirts.
The usual plan swung into action, we have done this a few times now, and the Dawsons went to church for mass and then everyone else arrived after for the baptism. Xander was particulary keen to see Father Staunton as he had a couple of questions.

"How old is God?"
"How big is God's house?"
He also got a keep quiet lecture and this ended up as "You must keep quiet in God's house because God is old and he doesn't like too much noise." (whatever works)

Mass was on the long side and the Musketeers whilst behaving immaculately started to get a tad bored so we were glad when mass was over and we welcomed the family into the church.

There were three families having a baptism and the congregation of the others didnt prescribe to Xanders theory of being quiet in church. Im sure a few had burnt retinas the stares Dette was giving them but Nathaniel was good and was seemed to enjoy the service. Uncle Marty and Auntie Liz were kind enough to be Nathaniels god parents (Were running out of Catholics)

Gran's sandwiches and Grandma's savouries at Carmels house afterwards. What a spread and a glass of bubbly as well. We took some formal snaps too. Thanks to everyone for the lovely gifts.

Just had a few moments so i thought i'd upload this clip of Nathaniel playing with the cat or visa versa. Nathaniel had his post op check up today and all is well, he has healed nicely and is much more settled. Were all looking forward to Sunday for Nathaniel's baptism.
