Backwards outfit!

Well the swine flu has taken over Australia and the cough and cold has the Dawsons on the ropes. All of us have had visits to the chemist or Doctor over the past week with Keeley suffering the most and not sleeping. Poor things wakes herself up with her cough and then cries which makes it worse, catch 22. She is getting better and we have had a couple of good nights sleep now so things are looking up.

On Saturday , even with the bugs, we had a busy day. Xander, Marshall and Amelia have all recently had promotions in the swimming pool. Xander had two weeks at school in the pool and is going great guns. Marshall has moved up a grade and Amelia is now in an independent class. Last week she refused to smile for her new teacher, Nick, but this week she was all giggles and cheer. Her old teacher is sad to see her go so we have promised her Keeley!
After swimming we had Charlotte and Liana's birthday party at a play centre. Always fun and all once again behaved well and played nicely. Amelia shocked us by going straight down the vertical slide with no hesitation. The others were a bit more circumspect.

Rushing from the party we had an appointment at Xander's school for a family portrait. We had previously been out and purchased new Jeans and black tops for everyone. Trying to be a bit arty. Everyone looked very hampson/bootiful and turned out to be great models. Nate especially smiled at all the cues with a cry of "Hogstar." ( a local restaurant advert he loves). Dad managed to put Keeley's outfit on back to front and wont live it down while the picture is up on the wall. She still looked great though.

We had DVD screens installed in the car this weekend too which was a great hit. A drive to Pakky for no reason just so we could watch Shrek 3 on the road, cool!

Daddy and his girls

I like Pink.

"So Nate, the blue is a juxtaposition"

Marshall , a great big brother.

Party time.

As usual the Musketeers toe the party line and wait until they are finished before leaving the table, God bless them.

We all love balloons, except mum and dad
