Sun

29.6cm. In one holiday Tuesday Port Fairy had more rainfall than most of the country has had for a year! The weather gave us that outstanding news and then said Wednesday would be a lot nicer. Turns out he was right. While still being rather chilly the sun cracked through and went to the beach. The house is about 20mts from the beach so we got to run along the sand and play “get down shep”. The water was a lot calmer today and it was a pleasant stroll. Then on the pushie for a bike ride to the park along River Moyne. The town was a whaling station back in the 19th Century and all the old buildings and infrastructure is still around. The fishing boats were in but didn’t seem to be working. A quick ride to the light house was interrupted by freezing winds so turn back to home for rolls. Some “Spy Kids” for Xander and Marshall while the other two slept.

A stroll down the main street and an afternoon tea/coffee made the day. Sadly we were excited by Big Brother tonight as Pamela Anderson went into the house. Funny telly and I quickly ran back from the internet cafĂ© so I didn’t miss it.

It's taken a while to get the video done but here it is.

PS. Out of context but Xander was accepted for his school today (Don Bosco Primary) , we are all very proud and he is chuffed.

Well done Xander for getting into his school, sounds really grown up. Everyone in England (even the Queen) is very proud of you....
