The next day

It's amazing how much goes on in a hospital ward at night. Marshall took his medicine for night time and we stuck to the normal routine of book-teeth-kiss-bed. Of course to replicate home all the lights had to be switched off which then limited my activities. In other words both of us to bed at 8.30pm.

Marshall woke up a couple of times upset and one time in particular he had a painful reaction to his medication, more about that later. Waking up around 6ish isn't too bad and we had both ordered a huge breakfast. Lucky Marshall got a yummy cooked egg/toast etc, I got musesli-yogurt, still nice though.

Back to the 3am medicine incident, Marshall now wouldn't take his panadol and consequently his throat was hurting. This meant he didn't want to eat. The Surgeon and nurse both told us that no eat= no leave, so a lot of cajoling and Marshall ate a piece of toast.

Home time and mum and the rest of the musketeers arrived. It's nice to be home but Marshall is not eating or drinking a lot so we are all a bit worried.

Heres some pics from the hospital visit.
