Well I have arrived home safe and well. Checked out at 1pm, the latest they would let me, and had 6 more hours to wander. Unfortunately it chucked it down with a huge thunder storm and i got rather wet. I then sat in the lobby and read my book for an hour or so and got a taxi. I am a rather nervous, "have i forgotton passport, miss flight) person so I was happy to get checked in and on the plane. My luggage was always going to be over and this was a concern but they didnt care. Should have bought more stuff and brought those clothes back Sam.
The bloke at customs let me straight through, perhaps becasue i had a huge silly grin on my face. I walked through the walkway and saw my family. Marshall put a huge sprint on and beat Xander. It felt so good to cuddle and kiss them, they had all grown so much. Dette looked great and I missed her so much. Mum and Dad were also there so it was a warm welcome. Xanders first words, "I love you daddy. Can we watch Ice Age when we get home."
We got home and distributed some pressies. The amigos were chuffed with their toys from Dodo and Elsie and then dressed up in their Vietnam outfits. I got Dette some Jean Paul Gautier perfume, that killed about an hour choosing that!!!! She was happy though and it smells lovely on her.
Everything felt a bit weird and new for a couple of hours and then back into a routine. It was nice to sit down and have tea with the family again. The flight had been okay , again for the third flight in a row, getting three seats to myself, however I was still knackered and flaked out on the couch at about 8ish. All the amigos were pretty good overnight and we got a good sleep. Up and back into routine, even got to a Enjo Party at Carmels.
On the way home Xander : "Ive got something yucky in my mouth." Mummy : "What is it?" Xander : "Its a snoodge." Mummy : "How did it get there." Xander (looking coy) : "Dont know" Mummy : "Did you pick your nose to see what it tastes like." Xander : "Yes , and it tastes yucky."
Dettes birthday tomorrow. Fathers day Sunday.
