By george I think he's got it.
It's nearing the end of the normal night time madness and I hear a slow counting 12.13.14.15 and then a scream. Okay : what on earth. It's mummy counting the steps. Nate has got it and now wont do anything unless he's on two legs.

Fair Dinkum
It's ironic that as the Great British team are winning gold and for once beating Australia I today sat my Australian Citizenship test. I got home from work last night at 10pm and grabbed the 50 page booklet and crammed hard. Heading out to the Dandy Immigration office I was fairly confident i would pass but still a tad nervous. The test consists of 20 questions on Aussie history and culture and you have 45 mins to complete it. Well 2 minutes in i had finished and thinking, it cant be this easy. Well it was 100 percent to Richard.... YAY. So now i am awaiting a ceremony date but it might be 3-6 months away. Come on Aussie Come on.........

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MUM
It's mums birthday and I beleive she is having one last trip away whilst in the UK. Hope you have a lovely day mum. We have had a quiet one here. It's cold and the Olympics are on so we are trying to keep the Musketeers amused and happy. We had a quick trip over to Gran's to fix her internet and some lunch and purchased some new seats for the car on the way. Pretty tricky fitting three baby/booster seats in the back of a Hyundai.
Trying to think of ways to sell the Jag at the moment. Need to get the bugger started first i guess.

GOLD GOLD GOLD !!!
The Musketeers have been watching the Aussies clean up in the pool at Beijing and today got their medals. As Australians they surely have a chance at collecting real gold at the 2024 Olympics and being dual nationals they will of course have the chance to compete for Britain, I guess they will have a better chance to make the team.

New Car
Whilst I enjoy being the owner of a classic British Car, I prefer it if the Jaguar actually goes. This is a problem and the ever increasing layer of dust showed that i might have to move on from my romantic ideals of driving like a land owner. To add to this I suppose Mum is going to want to have her car back soo. So the tweed is going away and I have taken the plunge and purchased a car. It has taken me a couple of months and lots of annoying trips but I ended up buying a car located only 1 minute drive away.

So a 2004 Hyundai Elantra it is. Not quite so cool but it seems to start..
