On the mend

Its been a busy few days with both Mum and Dad back at work. Marshall is back to his usual self and had his follow up appointment with his surgeon.

In the meantime Xander and Nate have both had various sniffles and infections so its been hectic.Nate is now on solids and wolfed down his first go at baby rice. He is growing up every day and getting bigger and stronger.

On Sunday we went down to Franger for homemade burgers and a burn around the court on mums scooter. It goes like a ripper and looks like it could be a great help.

Australia vs Qatar . 1st World Cup Qualfier

Australia is back on the trail for World Cup success and I have been a part of it. I was lucky enough to be offered a ticket from Dette's brother , David, for the small cost of some IT advice.

The Telstra Dome was pumping with 50,900 there and the Green and Gold army on full song. They are bit repetitive as Australia has too many syllables for a good tune really. The goals were all scored at the other end unfortunately but it was good to see some of the stars, Cahill, Neill, Emerton, Aloisi, Bresc. The goals all came within a short space of time in the first half and then we think jet lag kicked in and they went to sleep. Still a good 3-0 win to start the campaign off.

Mum also got out of Hospital today and settled in back home. She is getting a scooter from some friends to get about soon.

Marshall bearing up and Mum back at work

Marshall had a rough night last night and was up most of it. He's not a fan of taking his medicine during the wee hours so its a lot of coaxing or novel ideas. It's also amazing how such a small little boy can take up so much of a king size bed.

Mum had her first proper day back at work today and Marshall slept in till she had gone so that saved a stressful moment. Marshall has to stay home from creche for the next week.

Here is where Mum found Marshall sleeping the other night after 10 seconds of panic.

PS.Update on Dads NYE resolution. Lost 5 kilos, down from 105 to 100KG.
