Its been and continues to be stinking hot here but with the new air con we have been able to get on with it. However whilst it is cool in the house it does get a bit boring. Therefore today Nathaniel had his first visit to the movies. We saw Mr Magoriums Wonder Emporium. Xander was enthralled but the others enjoyed it in smaller doses.
After the movies Xander and Marshall made us all Macoroni Cheese for tea from Marshalls new Ratatouille cook book.
Stinking hot for New Years Eve.

Christmas 2007
Firstly. Daddy has had the video camera out so there are a few youtubes on this, so for non broadbanders , sorry.
A Christmas message and interview.
We all got up at about 6.15 and saw that Santa had left a lot of presents under the tree for all of the Musketeers. The boys had made a cake the day before (badly helped by dad) and they left a generous slice of that and some milk out for Santa. The reindeer had a bowl of water an apple and orange. Of course in the morning Santa had eaten it all up bar some crumbs and left a note thanking everyone and wishing everyone a merry Christmas.
A surreal calm present unwrapping (as Santa always wraps his presents) and surprises for everyone. The boys got a Smart Cycle, a nintendoesque game that requires you to pedal a push bike, and Amelia received a huge 5 foot dolls house with all the trimmings. You could almost say mummy got the dolls house as she has played with it the most so far!!! Nathaniel got a really cool swing with music and lights to help him doze in the afternoons.

Xander is a big fan of Ratatouille so breakfast was French croissants with cheese and bacon, daddy and Amelia also had pork snags, Yum. We had some fun with our toys and then off to Mount Eliza for Christmas Lunch. The house was full with relatives and kids and the musketeers took off straight away into the garden, onto the tennis court and off into who knows where.
Alas no turkey in this family ( i know but they wont have it) but three roasts of Pork, Beef and Chicken with all the trimmings but before that more presents from the family. Xander was especially good eating his lunch and it was silly hats and sillier jokes all round.

The required 30 mins wait and then into the pool. Santa had brought the amigos some floaties, bubbles and a buoyancy swim vest so we had to try them out. A lot of fun had by all.
Then onto the next party at Grandma and Granfers. More presents and food and a video chat with the Walmley Dawsons!! The amigos had more fun running around and eating a smashing tea!
Thanks everyone for your lovely gifts and cards and for your hospitality on Christmas Day. We all had loads of fun.
Boxing Day
Well Boxing day is a day to relax or squash up and throw away all the now empty toy boxes!!! After watching a few DVD's Santa had brought we went to the park.
A Christmas message and interview.
Christmas Eve and the Musketeers get a phone call from Santa. (Video is a bit long)We spend the rest of the day tidying up and getting ready for a big day. Late to bed for everyone.

Rain Rain
Xander decided that he wanted to dress up as a soldier today in his camo pants and army esque shirt.
Daddy "Do you know what a soldier does"
Xander " Yes, soldiers protect people, but some armies just go and destroy."
More flooding today with constant rain so we stayed inside most of the day. The video shows the park down the end of the street, normally just a little pond. Dont listen - bad sound

Santa comes to town
The Musketeers got to meet Santa today at the local shops. He had learnt that the boys had been good and tidied their room every day so Santa would not fall over. He also told Daddy that he would get some goals for Melbourne Victory for Christmas. Definitely the real Santa and not one of the helpers and he was very fat and had a big bushy beard. We all promised not to be naughty.
