Facebook, we all love it and it sends photos and updates around the world but i feel it doesnt have the same effect as the blog. So in an effort to keep the blog going it will be a Ney Year resolution to post something at least every other day.

Xander is 7

Xander had his seventh Birthday party with a few mates going to the drive in for Shrek 4. The big grown up boys had loads of fun and Xander recieved some smashing gifts.

One such gift was a pair of footy boots and a ball. Thanks Grandma.




Stand by for new arrival in the Dawson house

Parties

The Dawson Five had had the privilege of being invited to a fair few birthday parties of late, and Dette has been busy plying her new love of Cake Decorating. Here are a few snaps.

First off was Hunters birthday party at the Kew Driving School. A fantastic venue where the kids got to run around like crazy on their bikes and scooters.

Then last weekend it was Sams birthday party and Dette made one of her famous cakes. The kids were very confused though, " why do adults have parties". They didn't seem to mind and had loads of fun eating cake and running about, even watching Sam open his midlife crisis presents, Lots of Scalextric. There was one low light for the Dawson Five when we went to go. "Where are the lolly bags." Apparently its not a party without lolbags!!

And here is the final of the GT2 project. Good news and Bad news. It worked like a charm and really flew along, unfortunately only for 2 mins before i broke the steering!!!!
